Resolution Contracting was engaged to carry out a managed repair following a water damage event caused by a failed pressure control valve in the ceiling. Due to safety concerns, tenants were vacated and the property was made safe before works commenced.

The homeowner, who was residing overseas at the time of the event and initial stages of the event rectification process flew in to inspect the damage in person. From the moment of engagement, we provided comprehensive support and clear communication, guiding the insured and her property manager through every stage of the reinstatement process until completion.

Scope of works included water damaged floor substrate, insulation, ceiling and wall lining replacement, affected trims, we found an exact match of the existing wallpaper replacement. Reinstatement was carried out with care and precision, while maintaining regular contact with both the client, property manager and insurer to keep the process seamless.

Despite tight timeframes and the logistical challenge of supporting an overseas client, the project was successfully delivered in just two weeks, with the home returned in a clean, safe, and fully reinstated condition.
