Resolution Contracting was engaged to carry out a full internal and external refurbishment of a private home in Devonport, referred to us by one of our long-standing clients. The homeowners wanted a fresh, modern update focused on improving functionality, natural light, and overall comfort.
Internally, the project involved a complete reconfiguration and upgrade of key living areas. We installed a brand-new kitchen and bathroom, opened up the stairwell and lounge space, and laid new flooring overlays throughout.
A major focus was enhancing natural light and ventilation. The team removed an existing glass roof over the staircase and reframed the area to install new metal roofing and several skylights across the stairwell and lounge, creating a warm and spacious atmosphere.
Externally, we completed a full reroof and provided scaffold access to enable the owners to repaint the house exterior.
The result is a light-filled, modernised home with improved functionality, comfort, and style delivered on time and to a high standard.
