Resolution Contracting was engaged by Playcentre Aotearoa to deliver a full boundary fencing upgrade at their Māngere Bridge facility. The brief was clear: remove unsafe, aging fencing and replace it with a secure, modern solution — all within a tight two-week school holiday window to avoid disruption.
Our scope covered complete demolition and clearance of existing fencing and overgrown vegetation, construction of a new retaining wall, and installation of mixed fencing types with compliant access gates to create a secure perimeter. Mid-project, we encountered unexpected volcanic rock that complicated excavation, along with periods of poor weather.
To hold the programme, we extended working hours (including weekends) and sequenced tasks to maintain site safety and momentum. The result was a high-standard, on-time delivery that significantly improves safety, functionality, and visual appeal — with the site ready before tamariki returned.
