Asbestos Removal & Internal Reinstatement in Avondale

Resolution Contracting was engaged at the outset of a complex water damage event affecting an operating retail tenancy in Avondale. Internal wall linings were compromised, with confirmed asbestos and mould in affected areas. We managed the project end-to-end—from site establishment and stakeholder comms through to full reinstatement—while keeping the business trading.

Remediation works were delivered in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work (Asbestos) Regulations 2016 and relevant codes of practice. We set up airlocks and negative-pressure containment, safely removed contaminated linings and carpet, adjusted racking and electrical cabling for access, and obtained third-party clearance certification via licensed assessors. Worksafe notifications and site-specific safety planning were maintained throughout.

Once cleared, we reinstated with new wall linings, plastering, and premium paint finishes across the shop floor, stairwell, mezzanine, and basement. Despite the complexity of hazardous-material removal in a live environment, the project was completed efficiently and without business interruption—delivering a clean, safe, fully compliant premises with full documentation and a satisfied client.
